Tube Map Walks: Piccadilly
After being stuck in the office all morning for training I wanted to make the most of the sunny afternoon, so I made my way across to South Kensington to embark on another Underground walk. Today was the turn of the Piccadilly line section from South Kensington heading north to Cockfosters, through Central London.
The Piccadilly line is second longest line on the system, after the Central line, and has the second most stations, after the District line. It serves many of London's top tourist attractions including Harrods, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus (after which the line is named), Leicester Square and Covent Garden, as well as London Heathrow Airport, the busiest airport in Europe (based on passenger numbers).
Distance: around 15 miles.
