Tube Map Walks: Bakerloo and Waterloo & City
Bakerloo and Waterloo & City
Woke up far too early this morning so decided to head out again and have another stroll. Today I walked the London Underground Bakerloo and Waterloo & City lines.
The Bakerloo line runs from Harrow & Wealdstone in the north-west to Elephant and Castle in the south. It's named Bakerloo because it serves BAKER Street and WaterLOO stations.
Nicknamed 'The Drain', the Waterloo & City line is the shortest of all the London Underground lines (1.47 miles) and has only two stations, Waterloo and Bank (which was originally named City) - it takes just 4 minutes to travel from end to end.
Distance: around 21.5 miles.
