Don't Burn Your Supper...

Spicy Haggis Pasta in Rich Tomato Basil Sauce

We’ve gone a little bit different with our Burn’s Supper this year. Normally we would serve Haggis in the traditional way with neeps, tatties and a whisky sauce, but after seeing this pasta recipe on the Macsween website we decided to give it a go instead.

Essentially this dish is a bolognese with the Haggis taking the place of mince. The sauce is a mix of onion, garlic, basil, oregano, chilli flakes, fennel seeds, tomatoes and Haggis (we used the meat version), served with some pasta and a little grate of parmesan.

A delicious dish which shows how versatile Haggis can be.
