Classic White Cob
When you're in need of a quick and easy loaf, nothing beats the classic white cob. This recipe from Paul Hollywood is a 'go to' for the Gents, having first encountered it in our 'The Boys Do Bake Off' series. In time we've tweaked and refined as our confidence has grown and make one or two tiny alterations to this gloriously satisfying white loaf. First it's out with the butter and in with olive oil. It's an easier mix and keeps just a long. Second, it's in with just 50g of wholemeal or rye. The finish is slightly nuttier and ticks that health box! Enjoy with lashing of butter?
